So how did it all begin?
Well i guess the interest started because my dad was a disco dj, lol. So he had his old turntables, and endless crates of disco/classic rock etc. lying around in the basement, and it stemmed from there.
Where did the name come from?
The name came from me and dj Jayski’s passion for house music,
What gave you that initial push?
The initial push to start djing was probably the constant requests to make cd’s for house parties since i was the only kid with a burner in his computer back in the day lol, and I’d make 5 bucks off them selling them to kids in school

Where ever you find us djing!
Which other countries have you played/put parties on?
I was invited to dj in Sweden, and some of our mixes are streamed and downloaded all over the world
What’s the best event you’ve played at/put on?
I’d have to say either Sweden, or the famous el Mocambo, djing on the same stage that the rolling stones/the police/U2/Jimi Hendrix and so on
What was your first record you bought?
I can barely remember that! If I’m not mistaken it was Black Legend – you see the trouble with me
Out of all the tunes you have, which one ‘never fails?’
Eric Prydz – Call on me hands down
What’s your favourite tune of all time?
Michael Gray – The Weekend.
When all the partying is over how do you like to chill out?
For an evening cruise on my boat on lake Ontario, nothing better than to see my city light up, and the tranquility of the water. I’ll even dip the old fishing rod and see what happens!
So how is the scene in your eyes at the moment?
Well in Toronto, the scene is loving house music more than ever, before house music was a small set in a top 40 club, and you either liked hip hop or house, not both, but now you can almost guarantee on hearing house music at any top 40 club, not just you typical underground house club

How big is your vinyl collection?
I haven’t counted but i custom made crates with wheels on em, and a have a massive chest filled to the top, so it’s probably over 5000
What do you think of CDJ’s?
Love em, there fantastic, but if u can’t spin a 12 inch, learn how to do that first before you get ahead of yourself.’
What do you do outside of the dance music scene?
I work construction, love to go fishing, and collect vintage Nintendo stuff. Haha
When you play is your set pre planned?
NEVER, that’s the whole part of DJing you got to feel the crown and there energy
How has djing changed for you over the years?
Definitely the way i play my music. I love to still play on vinyl, but i stopped playing vinyl about 5 years ago, it’s just not convenient anymore LOL. Also a lot of the new tracks out there are only released in digital, there are still great songs being pressed on vinyl every day, but you limit you self to stay strictly vinyl these days. And you have to be up to date in the newest music!
